Book of Leviticus
The book of Leviticus is the third book of the Old Testament, and takes place over a long period of time. Most of the chapters refer to God's speeches to Moses, which God commands Moses to repeat to the Israelites. This takes place within the story of the Israelites' Exodus after they escaped Egypt and reached Mt Sinai. In Leviticus, God tells the Israelites how to make offerings, and how to conduct themselves, in the Tabernacle. A key theme of Leviticus is holiness.
