BIBLE EXPLORE / NEW TESTAMENT / TITUS
Book of Titus
In the book of Titus, Paul commissions Titus to show how the good news of Jesus and the power of the Spirit can transform the culture of the people of Crete (Cretans) from within. They can reveal God's love and salvation through devoting their lives to Jesus, and rejecting corruption. The culture of Crete was heavily influenced by the Greek gods, and Paul set out to refute the claim that Jesus was like Zeus or any of the other greek gods.
