About Bible Explore.

The Bible Explore story began as 'Connectible', when the Diocese of Dunedin had heart to share worship material that would inspire all ages to encounter the Bible. They longed for their churches to share ideas, creative projects and liturgy - and this grew into Connectible. Connect + Bible = Connectible. They believed that bite size ideas could be incorporated into a worship service that would make it more family friendly and holistic.

Strandz took over this site in 2016, believing that it was a valuable taonga for the Anglican Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia. We created 3 years of lectionary based material to cycle through years A, B and C, and in 2021, we relaunched a new responsive and updated website. We also expanded the site to include a whole new 'Bible' section, as we continue to grow a hub for bible resources that could be accessed outside of the lectionary cycle. And it was time for a new name - Bible Explore.
