In a culture that respected men and often put women second, Jesus does something quite radical. Not only does he heal a woman who had been bleeding for years, but he brings a little girl back to life.

What do these two miracles have in common?
What do you know about girls back in Jesus' time?

What do you think this tells us about how God values about girls?

Games

The woman in today's story reached out to touch Jesus' clothes, and she was healed. Play a couple of games that include touch, like Tag, Thumbs up, Blindfold Tag, and Dodgeball.
